Your First Visit

Jesus welcomes everyone; and so do we

West Parish of Barnstable was founded in 1616, dissenting from the Church of England, we are still listening for where God is calling us to be the church today on a hill in West Barnstable and across the globe.
Here we welcome the diversity of each person, for we are all made in God’s image. Wherever you are in life’s journey you are welcome here; we are an Open and Affirming congregation. This is a place where all your gifts are welcome. Here we are no longer strangers, for God has called us to be a church.
Even if you drive by at night, our Meetinghouse is lit up as a beacon of hope on a hill in West Barnstable at a crossroads. Where are you on the crossroads? Perhaps today is the day to see what lies within. Come for we have left the light on for you.
In summary, our doors our open. God awaits you inside and outside.  Worship begins on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m.  (September-June) and every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  The work of the church is ever open.
We have central air conditioning and heating.
